SECONDS
OUT ROUND TWO
Robert
Andrews backed up a great 2nd place in the season opener of the
Youth B class British Championship in Manchester, two weeks ago,
with another solid second position yesterday in Devon. The young
Bangor rider is really riding on the crest of a wave at present.
Having taken deliver of his new 125cc Shirt Gas Gas only days before
the first round, Bert has quickly adapted to stepping off the 200
gasser. Championship rules in British rounds require at a certain
age you must ride only 125cc machines, I think Uncle Harold forgot
to tell Bert he has less cc!!
Well done again Robert.
Bert
was not the only guy flying the Trialstar flag in Devon, Graeme
and Brian left a cold and wet Ulster Championship round on Saturday
night by plane and headed across for an assault on the A class.
The result suggests Graeme is moving in the right direction improving
on his first round 27th to 19th in Devon, good lad. It is good to
see both these guys making the effort to gain valuable experience
against stiff opposition.
What
a shame the next round clashes with the Ireland GP. Whoever plans
the date’s calendar please step forward? I dare you.
