Round three of the British Youth Championship took place in Scarborough on Sunday.
Bert fresh and eager to get at the A class top guns had in his own words a ‘steady day’. Having drawn second guy away is never ideal, but he managed to work hard and end the day in 4th spot despite not seeing his nearest rivals perform. Series leader Wigg won on 10 with Bert on 35….so the Bangor boy is getting closer. As for our B Class rising star Jordan, he was flying high in confidence after his French trip. He simply started on fire with a superb opening card and despite suffering from mechanical difficulties on the final lap he held on in this ‘new territory’ to record 11th place…well done to both guys.
