WEDNESDAY
7th JUNE
BRITISH YOUTH TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP – KENT, ROUND 4
Bertstar
had a super weekend in the south east corner of Britain last Sunday
as he and Harry set of on the longest UK mainland trip of the year
to Kent. At a changed venue Robert produced his best British result
by far and finished in an excellent 2nd position.
Current
A Class champion Alexz Wigg won on 16 with Bert on 48 and third
place finisher Jack Challoner on 55. Still recovering from his ‘Rooney
injury’ Jordan also made the long haul due south with his
minder and dad David. This did not prove to be a happy hunting ground
for the young Newtownards rider as after a good solid start it all
went a little off track and Jordan ended the day in a disappointing,
by his own admission, 14th place in the B Class… there is
always the next round.
